The Lakey Peak 32” is the board we recommend the most for people 1m60 to 1m75 tall who want to start surfskating. Its wide outline and long wheelbase (18.5”) bring more stability and comfort to the board and help you draw wider and more fluid lines. Built with a medium concave that gives enough grip to prevent your feet from moving, it is mounted with the Meraki (S5) system and 66x51mm 82A (hard) wheels to help you gain more control during your slides.

TL;DR: Awesome board which feels like surfing a shortboard
I’ve been riding longboards for quite some time and I was searching for a board that would improve me as a surfer. While riding traditional longboards, taking turns would remind me of riding an 8 foot foamy. Do a turn, wait for the board to follow, do another turn… It’s alright, but it’s very different from riding a shortboard and I wanted that responsiveness in my next skateboard. I’m glad to say this board is exactly what I was searching for! I’m used to surfing a 6″6 fish and this board and really comes close to that feeling. Really impressed by the responsiveness and by the build quality, awesome print/details on the front and back of the board!
Wheels are really nice, they feel medium soft, are broad, and keep spinning for quite some time. The grip tape is really nice and heavy (got me a raw thumb at the end of the day). The deck has got just a little bit of concave, not that much but exactly enough when making sharp turns. The board itself tilts at quite an angle, so a heavy concave would probably be less desirable when taking sharp turns. The board has got some flex in it but is quite sturdy. Shipping from Spain to the Netherlands took about 4 days but was well worth the wait! Plus, you get a lot of stickers from them for on your laptop or van 🙂
Extra bonus: the support team is also really nice and responds very swiftly and politely. Keep up the good work guys!
Currently landlocked due to the pandemic. I take this board to the park a couple times a week when I’m especially missing surfing. I love it. I’ve been practicing my cutbacks and snaps on this baby and bombing hills as well.
